Fire and Fury would like to announce its 1st Annual Monster Madness Festival scheduled for Sunday, December 18th starting at 12pm est. Gather by the PoK Spirit Shroud giver by the Guild Lobby entrance before that time to participate.
Fire and Fury will be hosting 2 events, open to all players on the Firiona Vie Server (one will be limited to non Anguish flagged guilds). The purposes of the events are to have fun and meet new people. The rewards are quite nice- Top prize for one event will be 5 ancient muramite runes (or possibly a loot from our guild bank) while the other prize will be the opportunity to loot an epic 2.0 orb from Anguish. Also, random prizes may be given out throughout the events.
The first event will be a Free for All in the Arena. To make things balanced, we will mandate that people use a specific shroud (which we will announce later). In order to make all things even, shrouds will be required at this event. We will announce which form you may use. All players will be required to gather in the arena and not receive any buffs other than those mgbd by Fire and Fury members (no potions either). The event will be a free for all pvp tournament. To the extent we see members forming teams or cheating in any way, we may intervene to even out the odds =). We hope that everyone will participate in the spirit of fun and competition.
As time drags out, you will find yourself faced with certain catastrophic events occurring throughout the arena (a/k/a Aes, Pets gone wild, general mayhem). The purpose of these is to make sure people stay engaged and not hidden or simply running around. After a certain time we will also limit the fight area to the center platform.
The prize for the winner of this event will be a free opportunity to loot an epic 2.0 orb. A few things. You must get to level 70 to enter Anguish. We will provide you with a full insignia box. We will assist you with the box turn in. You will then be warned in advance of days that we will raid anguish. You will need to wait outside till we 85 you in. You will then zone in and be taken straight to your 2.0 orb for looting! All non Anguish flagged players are eligible to participate in this event.
The second event is going to be a foot race. Once Again, we will be leveling the play field by mandating shroud forms. We will probably level limit the shroud to somewhere around 10, maybe even lower. More details will be coming. We have not decided the beginning and end point, but currently we are thinking of Freeport to Halas. You will not be allowed to use ports, potions, stones... We will have a character in each zone that you will be required to hail (Will be designated FnF members who will be announced). The prizes for this event will be 5 ancient muramite runes to the winner, 4-2nd, 3-3rd, 2-4th and 1 to 5th-10th.
Ok, here come the disclaimers. We may change the rules and prizes before the actual date. Hell we may even change the actual date. We want this to be fun for all, so any griefing or cheating will be dealt with as best as possible, including disqualification. We cant think of every little detail, so be flexible.
