Fire and Fury is an end-game raiding guild on Firiona Vie. We're looking for people who want to be the best in their class and raid with some of the best players on the server. Please make sure you read this post and understand what we expect from our members before deciding to apply. Cross-server applications are welcome but please speak to Fuvi prior to transferring.

Alaris revamps the guild structure and the part of the changes most relevant to apps is that we will extend guild invites to potential apps. This will make it easier to get to know members, show that you play EQ often on Mon-Thu evenings and make it easier to form groups and work on progression. You will not be invited to raids until you are promoted to the Applicant rank.

Warriors, Paladins and Shadowknights: You must be sufficiently geared and AAed to tank on raids at the time of your app and/or be recommended by full members you have recently tanked for, the more who recommend you the better.

Clerics, Druids and Shaman: Make the world go round. Show up often and on time and have tanks and/or your group tell me they want you in future raids and good things will happen. Currently Priest attendance is doing well and sitting out some raids will happen.

Bards, Berserkers, Magicians, Rangers, Rogues and Wizards: DPS classes fill out raids. Currently raids are more than full. March and later DPS apps should expect to be a Potential App for an extended period until either roster turnover or being specifically recommended by several members results in a promotion to the Applicant rank.

Getting to know your future guildmates and being on often Mon-Thu evenings is the most important thing. While specific classes have specific abilites if mod rods, AE TL or melee buffs were important enough we would banner in an alt. Play the class you enjoy, it's best for both you and the guild in the long term.

Monks and Beastlords: Thanks to the Alaris loot system the number of h2h classes in the guild is no longer as much of an issue. Expect to spend your raid currency to get weapons, but otherwise the above blurb about DPS classes applies.

Enchanters and Necromancers: Due to stacking issues and the current roster these classes are the least likely to be approved as apps. However we're always considering applications from exceptional applicants of any class.

Raid Schedule

7pm - 11pm Eastern, Monday - Thursday.

Requirements
You must be able to raid at least 3 nights a week and be level 95 with an AA count that satisfies the leader and senior members of your class. Talking to FnF members of your class about AA is a really good idea if you think your AA count could be an issue. Since we only raid 4 nights a week that means maintaining a 75% raid attendance even after you become a full member.

Working on Alaran Language skill is REALLY IMPORTANT both before and after you join the guild.

You should have a good working knowledge of your class, enjoy the game and dying in the worst possible ways EQ has to offer. The content we raid requires a lot from players and an enjoyment of the game will go a long way towards making your experience here part of what makes being in an end-game raiding guild fun.

How to Apply
1. Register here using your in-game name.
2. Have a current and accurate Magelo. (http://eq.magelo.com/home.jspa) If you can't be bothered to make an accurate Magelo or that Magelo shows a lack of reasonable effort into your character your app will likely be declined, take a little more time and work on that first impression.
3. Create a new thread in the 'Apply Now!' forum and fill out our application. (http://www.fnfguild.com/forum/showpost.php?p=29532&postcount=2)

Application Process
Most apps will result in being guilded as a Potential App once Alaris launches. To be promoted to Applicant play EQ Mon-Thu evenings, get to know people in the guild and continue to advance your character.

Poor behavior in /gu or in EQ will result in your guild removal. Everyone should respect the Fire and Fury guild tag and act in an appropriate manner while wearing it. Do not be /anon at any time. You must know Human and Elvish. FV is a roleplaying server with no common tongue for communication.

Once you been accepted as an applicant keep your raid log up to date. Your progression within the guild will be determined by your attendance and performance on raids.

What we expect from our applicants
Check your ego, your attitude, your lust for loot, and any stubbornness you may have at the door - or don’t walk through it. Expect to be told how to do things and when to do them. Small mistakes can result in enormous catastrophes at this level.

We raid with the expectation that everyone respects each other and helps each other for the benefit of the guild. If you're drama, can't tolerate constructive criticism, or you get a sandy vagina about people using terms like sandy vagina, this isn't the place for you. We raid to win and the best way to do that is for every member of the guild to work together to the best of their ability.

Wearing our guild tag is an honor. Treat it as such.

Guild Leadership
Fire and Fury is not a democracy, nor is it a democratic republic. Fire and Fury is a benevolent dictatorship governed by a council whose objective is to maximize the abilities of the membership, focus those abilities to realize the collective goals of the guild, and foster an atmosphere of enjoyment for the members of Fire and Fury.

The leadership is open to the constructive criticisms and suggestions of the membership. The proper channels for criticism and suggestion will be made readily evident and available to the membership. The membership must realize that no leadership is infallible and likewise that disagreeable short-term decisions are often the result of a more agreeable long-term goal. The leadership is in place for the benefit of the membership.

If you have questions contact Fuvi by PM or tell.
